Year 6 have been enjoying their computing lessons this week and have created their own games. The object of the game was to make one of their characters run away and control the other character to chase them. The children have used Scratch to write code which enables them to move, keep score and even use sounds.
As you can see, the children’s code was quite complicated. If they made a mistake, they needed to ‘debug’ the code by changing the code blocks or adding new ones.
I was very impressed with how hard they worked and the amount of fun games we managed to create.
