We know how important messages are in daily life. The apostles went out to spread the good news about Jesus and God’s love. Think about how we can spread the message of God’s love in our lives. Decorate a bookmark and write a word of love that you would like to pass on to someone.

This week I would like you to make a herbarium.
A herbarium is a collection of dried/pressed plants. It is a great way to make a collection of the types of plants that grow in your garden or in places near your house. Click on the link below to find out how to make one.

Remember to label the plants once they have been pressed and dried. You could use the internet with a grown up, to research the names of the plants if you are not sure.

Art
We have learnt how to use natural objects to create art work. This week I would like you to collect some natural materials such as twigs, leaves, flowers sticks. Then I would like you to explore the different ways you can use these to make patterns and pictures. You might like to turn the leaves over and make rubbings. You could do some printing with them. Perhaps you could use some leaves or flowers as paintbrushes. Have some fun. Think about all the lessons we have done before- have fun. Please send me pictures of any work you do!

Have a think about what you have learnt about Beatrix Potter. Talk to an adult about why she was such an important figure in our history. For your Big Write this week I would like you to write a letter from Squirrel Nutkin to Old Brown, the owl. You need to imagine that you are Squirrel Nutkin.
What do you think he would say? Perhaps he would like to apologise to Old Brown for his bad manners and the way he behaved ?
Remember to start your letter ‘ Dear Old Brown….
Remember to use capital letters at the start of each sentence and for people’s names. Finish each sentence with a full stop.
